Corn Dolly™ Perfume Oil:
Corn Dollies were made during the harvest festivals and have roots going back hundreds of years. The figure is a symbol of fertility and good fortune, and is seen as yet one more step in the cycle of life, death, and rebirth in relation to the grains, the harvest and the land. There is a strong association with the goddess Brighid. A corn dolly can be made of woven grain such as wheat or oats but also can be created from corn husks.
This is an earthy and slightly sweet unisex scent that tips to the feminine side of the scale. Main notes are: Sweet burnt corn husks, dried herbs, oakwood fire, amber, dried leaves and background notes of clove and citrus.
Perfume comes in a 1/3 oz. (9 ml) frosted cobalt blue roll-on bottle and comes ready for gift giving in a little fabric bag.
